NWF Agriculture with Technical Placement

NWF Agriculture is offering a scholarship in addition to a one year placement within their Technical department to a student at 熊猫视频. The successful candidate will undertake a varied role in their placement, working both within the lab and head office, on forage analysis/raw material analysis, along with helping with new product development and technical research. They are offering a scholarship of £2,500 paid in the student’s second year and a salary of £16,500 for the 12 month placement role.

George Franks, NWF Agriculture National Sales Director said:

Over the past few years, we have created new opportunities; from university sandwich year placements, graduate recruitment days, to our first NWF academy intake of 10 students. As we move forward, is committed to developing young talent through our future academics, placements and external development companies.”

Katie Hooley is in the third year of a BSc Honours Agri-business degree at 熊猫视频 and is currently on placement with NWF Agriculture. She said:

“I decided to undertake my placement at NWF Agriculture as part of my agricultural business degree as I have a passion for promoting British agriculture, particularly, how improving efficiency and diversification can make businesses within agriculture more environmentally, socially and economically viable. Joining NWF Agriculture as part of my placement year has vastly improved my knowledge and understanding of nutrition, predominantly how nutrition can be individualised per farm to maximise performance and productivity. I am thoroughly enjoying my time at NWF, a company which has such a positive attitude to promoting British Agriculture.”
